Are you at risk?

Well, we all know that we're getting older by the day – sometimes it's a shock to see the photo on your driver's licence 5 years ago in comparison to how you look now!  (not necessarily gratifying )
We know that the genes we were given from our parents play a massive role in what stature, colouring etc we have.  We also have to take into account what else those genes have stored in them.
Does your family have a particular sickness or syndrome that runs in it?  Diabetes, arthritis, auto-immune diseases, high cholesterol and heart disease are just a few that make us 'pre-conditioned' to get these diseases.  Sure we can do a lot with the lifestyle we choose, the food we eat, but basically we can't do much about the colour of our skin, hair, eye colour and muscular shape – these are the basic genes we have no control over.
You've heard of the fat lady who complains she can't lose weight because it's in her genes? – it just MAY be.

Yes, even though we try to do our best in the knowledge of what our family's weaknesses are – mostly; we are 'held to ransom' because of the genes we are born with.
Though largely not in control of things like our hair and eye colour etc. we probably can do a LOT more about our PRE-DISPOSITION to family (hereditary) diseases.  It has to do with what our body has (or has not) when it's trying to perform its various duties!  Mal-nutrition is a problem for instance in the elderly.  Yes, they don't always eat meat and three vegetables at each sitting, but also because their various internal systems are shutting down and they can't process the food correctly to absorb the correct nutrients.  They don't have as many enzymes available to break down the food particles in their stomachs (to actually make some of the chemicals and vitamins that it should) and so the nutrients eaten just pass through the system without benefit.
The Nobel Prize winner Dr Hans Krebs was a scientist in the early 20th century who made the significant discovery: that if proper nutrition was given to the body in balanced proportions (28 vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids) then the inner workings of cell-to-cell transmissions which transfers nutrients all round the body and maintains healthy red blood cells distributing oxygen to every cell in your body – maintains human optimal health. The cells are then also able to use and process fat and effectively eliminate waste products of each cell more effectively.. the whole body works better.

It seems to me, in this day and age of continual mass production of vegetables and therefore soil depletion of minerals; that even the food we DO eat does not have the minerals and goodness it used to have.  On top of this, not all of us even eat the required five (5) vegetables and fruits daily so we're not getting the roughage either.  It is at a rather sad vantage point that we now acknowledge WORLD obesity levels rising – and with it DIABETES (the silent killer).  On top of this is the lifestyles we lead these days – almost attached to a computer or video screen/TV from a young age – the exercise we used to get walking anywhere is now vetoed for a quick trip in the car.
ALL of this does not bode well for the younger generations of our kids – or even ourselves.  We all have to make wise lifestyle choices BUT on top of this; and possibly working against you are the genes you were born with.  Do we really think we are treating our bodies kindly enough so WE don't get what Uncle Joe had or what Mum died with?
No, each of us essentially need to decide that we're going to do our best to OUTSMART our hereditary pre-dispositions and TAKE CONTROL!
a) we need to take the blinkers off – our lifestyles and the foods we eat WILL catch up with us
b) we need to optimise the way our body treats and gets rid of 'the baddies' in our system.  We need to keep our immunity levels up
c) and we need to be wise in our decisions about everything we do for ourselves, for our families and most of all for our kids (they only have OUR 'wisdom' [or lack of] thrust on them)
d) there's even scientific opinion emerging today that is saying that even young children under the age of 5 are ABLE to have their genes modified by Alpha Lipid Lifeline colostrum – this is a good thing if there are known hazards in the genetic line!

Take a look at some of the products on this site like idea of the trilogy of:
1. Alpha Lipid Lifeline, Cellworx and Colostem – have a read of some of the scientific findings about these products- especially Cellworx and Colostem.
2. Also have a look at K28 – it's labelled as a 'meal replacement' but it has all the vitamins, minerals and trace elements and amino acids that not only help the elderly process food better but buffer their systems with the nutrients they need.
Alpha Lipid Lifeline is trademarked 'colostrum' because of the way the product is delivered to the body, it doesn't get destroyed by the stomach's acid. So why take, just 'any' colostrum when you may not be getting any benefit out of it at all?
